Riverbank Prayer Diary
At Riverbank we welcome, embrace and love all our families – of any or no faith.
As part of our Christian ministry, it is our prayer for those that we are reaching and meeting, that they will encounter Jesus and come to know Him.
This Spring, we ask others to join us in prayer for the following:
- Thank God for our volunteers who serve so faithfully. Please pray for more volunteers to come forward and for God to raise up new befrienders who can reach out to new mums.
- Please pray for Riverbank’s work in rebuilding broken and lost hearts and families in this community.
They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastation; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. (Isiah 61:4)
Please pray this verse over the team.
- Please pray for Riverbank’s physical space as we seek a home which will meet our need to build relationships and share community with our
families, undertake administrative work and develop our ministry.
- Please pray for our new Community Sponsorship Project, a Home Office scheme under which we aim to house, support and care for a Syrian family in their first two years of being relocated to the UK from a refugee camp. Please pray for provision, the right people with the right expertise and that His Holy Spirit will open up doors and lead us in this new ministry.
